Accounts Payable Coordinator (full time)
Are you someone that enjoys spreadsheets and numbers? The Accounts Payable Coordinator supports our accounting operations by verifying purchase vouchers, processing payments and reconciling accounts. Candidates must be ready to work in a busy department and have an eye for detail.
Community Youth Development: Program Specialist (full time)
Provide support to the CYD Coordinator and work directly with the CYD program curriculum and participants.
Director: Facilities (full time)
Oversee employee and visitor safety, custodial, housekeeping, building maintenance, repair and upgrades and comply with environmental, safety and health procedures relating to facility operations including IT.
Early Head Start Teacher (full time)
Provides a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for children while they are in the Early Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor play area, and field trips). Develop individual goals for children, provide ongoing assessment on progress and facilitate transition into Head Start or other preschool settings. Encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program. Must meet requirements per Federal Head Start Performance Standards and any local, state and/or agency policies and procedures.
Fitness Instructor (part-time)
The YWCA is a seeking high-energy and self-motivated fitness instructor. This role leads, instructs and motivates individuals and groups in exercise activities including cardiovascular exercise, strength training and stretching. Grant Specialist (full time)
We are seeking an individual with grant writing experience and the capacity to write and evaluate grants including tracking impact and grant reporting.
Lifeguard (part-time, starts May 1)
Our lifeguards monitor all activities in swimming areas to ensure the safety of patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies and providing general assistance to patrons. Current lifetguard, CPR and first aid certifications required.
Student Special Services Coordinator (full time)
Our Special Needs Coordinator will work with families, public school personnel and internal personnel to support the adjustment of children with special needs within the YWCA’s programs.
Summer Camp Staff (part-time)
A Summer Camp Staff member will teach, coordinate, and carry out camp activities while ensuring the safety of YWCA campers and creating an inspiring learning environment. Candidates must be attentive, motivated, and excited about working with children.
Swimming Instructor (part-time, starts May 1)
Our swimming instructors teach water safety, including Basic Water Rescue and Personal Water Safety courses, two levels of Parent and Child Aquatics, three (3) levels of Preschool Aquatics and six (6) levels of Learn-to-Swim program.
Our tutors are responsible for helping students to better understand different academic subjects. Candidates must be passionate about learning and have an ability to encourage students in their studies. Optimism and Patience is key!
YWCAre After-School Care Staff (part-time)
We are seeking positive role models to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to help kids in your area learn and grow. Monday-Friday 3-6pm, but we are flexible on hours!
