YWCA Study Camp
These are stressful time and we want to reassure you that the YWCA will continue to offer childcare and extended camp services for anyone who has been impacted by the school district closures.
Hours will be from 7:30am to 6:00pm. The YWCA is a licensed CCS provider and we are following the guidelines set forth by Child Care Licensing, the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
We know parents have to work and kids may need help with the new online learning platforms. The YWCA “study camps” will focus on giving children the online access and support they need and giving them the opportunity for structured outside time and a nutritious lunch and snacks.
Currently, we have made modifications to our program to include:
- Drop off and pick-up of students is conducted outside the building.
- Taking the temperature of all persons before they enter our building.
- Anyone with a temperature over 100 degrees will not be able to attend or enter the building.
- If a child becomes ill during the day, they will be isolated from the classroom until they can be picked up.
- Aggressive changes have been implemented around handwashing and sanitation.
- Germ Blast is used every evening at every campus.
For infants, toddlers and preschoolers, parents should call (806)776-9734 for any questions.
For school-aged children, parents should call (806)776-9505 for any questions.
