SUMMER CAMP

Summer camp 2024 is FULL! Click the link below to join the waitlist. A $25/child registration fee is due at time of enrollment for all.

The YWCA summer camp program plays a critical role in assuring that children have a safe and fun environment to spend the day while parents are at work. By staying actively engaged throughout the summer, children return to school in the fall ready to learn.

Children ages 4 through 13, grades Pre-K to 6th, are welcome. 4 -year-olds must have previously attended a structured Pre-K program and all children must be fully toilet trained.

Summer camp will run from 5/28/2024 to 8/9/2024. Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

Payment is due each week and parents/guardians must pay tuition for all 11 weeks, regardless of attendance.

Once you have completed enrollment, your submission will be processed within one week. An invoice for the first week of camp will be sent to the e-mail address you provided on your enrollment form. First week’s payment is due within 24 hours of receiving your emailed invoice. If payment is not received, your enrollment will be cancelled.

MINI CAMPS

Mini camps are offered on Lubbock ISD and Lubbock Cooper ISD staff development days and most holidays from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for $30 per day per child and on most early dismissal days from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. for only $20 per day per child (all Mini-Camps are held at the YWCA on University).

Children will be fed lunch and a snack and have planned activities throughout the day.

You may enroll for mini camp as long as the following criteria is met:

Childcare account must be current and at zero balance
We must have an enrollment form in the system for your child.
Children ages 4-12 as long as they are enrolled in Pre-K through 5th grade.
Payment is due within 24 hours of received invoice or registration will be cancelled.

FINANCIAL AID

YWCAmp is a CCS provider through the Texas Workforce Commission Child Care Services program. Call 806-744-3572 for eligibility.

YWCA scholarships are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis for families not eligible for CCS funds. More information and financial aid applications are available at the YWCA front desk.

CCS

Child Care Services (CCS) subsidizes child care for eligible low-income families. Fee to be determined. Must apply through CCS.

SCHOLARSHIP

YWCA has some scholarships available for famillies denied CCS. Before you apply for a scholarship, you must first apply for CCS.

The YWCA is committed to offering you great service and convenience, with simple, online payment options through Pro Care Parent portal. If you would like help paying online or need a computer to use, visit one of our locations. The Sun ‘n Fun front office is open Monday – Friday from 6am to 9pm.
