YWCAre is a licensed after-school care program in partnership with schools across Lubbock, TX. Each location provides educational and recreational activities for children in Pre-K through 5th grade. Our programs give working parents a safe and affordable child care option instead of leaving children home alone. Every child also receives a healthy snack each day through the USDA’s Child & Adult Care Food Program.

From homework help and creative projects to active play and social development, YWCAre provides a balanced mix of academics and fun. We offer the following discounts ONLY to families with children enrolled in full-time care who qualify:
Families with more than one child enrolled in YWCAre may
receive a $5 weekly tuition discount for each additional child.
Retired and active duty military parents/guardians may receive $5 off their weekly tuition.
LISD & LCISD employees may receive $5 off their weekly tuition.
*Discounts may not be combined; the discount with the highest benefit will be applied.

The YWCA on University is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm. The Sun ‘n Fun front office is open Monday – Friday from 6am to 9pm.
