The YWCA Community Youth Development Program (CYD) serves youth between the ages of 6 and 17 in the 79403, 79404, 79412 and 79415 zip codes. All curriculum is based on the 40 elementos fundamentales del desarrollo establecidos por el Search Institute.

CYD provides mentoring, youth leadership development, post high school development and the Youth Advisory Committee, a student-led leadership committee. Additionally, CYD offers a vast array of services that meet specific community youth needs and promotes family support and involvement, including:
