Our licensed after-school childcare program for pre-K through 5th graders is a safe, affordable solution for working parents operating at 32 elementary schools in the Lubbock and New Deal school districts. Childcare is provided from 3-6 p.m. daily based on the Lubbock ISD calendar. Financial assistance is available to income-eligible participants, and children can enroll at any time.
NOTE: Friday, Oct. 10, is an early release day for Lubbock ISD. Our staff will begin childcare at noon that day.

YWCA Lands on First Friday Art Trail 
The YWCA's historic downtown facility, The Legacy, will become a permanent venue on Lubbock's First Friday Art Trail in October after a successful debut in September. The well-attended event drew rave reviews not only for the impressive artwork and refreshments but also for the refurbishing progress.
Child Development Center Request
The children attending the YWCA Child Development Center will begin the new school year on Sept. 1 using an enhanced curriculum called High Reach Learning. This program provides children experiences in language, math, science, social skills, motor skills, and social/emotional growth.
You can help make a long-term difference in the lives of these children by delivering donated items from our monthly supply list to 13th and N or 35th and Flint.

GET FiT FREE Tuesdays at the Y
Participants in Healthy Lubbock's GET FiT program can take part in any YWCA aquatic or fitness class or utilize the workout facilities for FREE on Tuesdays and receive double points for those workouts.
